instead of using a lot of chemicals to decaffienate the green coffee beans, this process involves pure mountain water from the pico de orizaba in mexico. the beans are steamed to prepare them for the caffeine extraction, which leaves the beans with their flavour and aroma. descamex is the first decaffeinating plant of its kind in latinamerica!
